Cumulus Support

I just updated to the new release of MX - 3092. I probably should have backup up the old one first, but that ship has passed. Everything was working fine.

Now, everything appears to act as before except all the data are zeros in the display. Please help. I have attached debug logs.

Oh, dear, that doesn't look good - no responses getting registered from the station. I'll look into it, but it seemed to be working with my serial/USB attached station, and an IP attached station....

did you stop CumulusMX first before coping over the new install? then start it again?

I fired up b3092 against my serial VP2 and its working fine. Your log shows no responses at all from the station which is odd, I'd expect to be getting something back even if was garbage, or out of sequence data. Is COM1 definitely the correct port?

It is not the release I think. Everything is working perfectly here, also with the Davis VP2+.

Is yours a serial attached station Hans?

Turns out it was the COM port. I feel like a dope. I know I checked Device Manager and saw only COM1. I think I must have been looking at the wrong computer's DM: remote desktops, virtual machines... it could easily have been any of 3 other machines. A casualty of multitasking. I will add the CumulusMX folder to my backup now.

Yes, serial/usb to the rpi
