MX v 3.7.0-b3089 Possible Bug

Hi Mark,
Installed 3.7.0-b3089 and have noticed that on startup the Chart entries in cumulus.ini are fine set as per below:
TempVisible=1
InTempVisible=1
HIVisible=1
DPVisible=1
WCVisible=1
AppTempVisible=1
FeelsLikeVisible=1
HumidexVisible=1
InHumVisible=1
OutHumVisible=1
However if I check both "Debug Logging and Data Logging" in "Station Settings > Options", it turns them inediately to 0: as per below.
TempVisible=0
InTempVisible=0
HIVisible=0
DPVisible=0
WCVisible=0
AppTempVisible=0
FeelsLikeVisible=0
HumidexVisible=0
InHumVisible=0
OutHumVisible=0
I ran 3.7.0-beta3 3089without this issue, I have to shutdown and modify cumulus.ini and change them back to one, but it means now I cannot use "Debug Logging and Data Logging".

Oh and not related, but I had that same issue with usb disconnect again at 04:02 again this morning, have checked and absolutely nothing happening on my Nuc Haydes at that time, the only thing at that time is Davis Console Time Re sync at 04:00 ? Has me baffled, has never done it before. This is the second time in a week.

Kind Regards,

Also found on restart that some of the items in [Graph] were removed:-
InTempVisible
FeelsLikeVisible
HumidexVisible

It also looks like a previous version of webfiles\js\cumuluscharts.js got back into \webfiles as well as the switches are not being recognised but the beta3 cumuluscharts.js is respecting the [Graph] switches.

Cumulus.ini [Graph] switches, and beta3 cumuluscharts.js

So have re-instated the missing [Graph] switches in Cumulus.ini
This fixed the Charts page in the UI in terms of turning off those set to 0 but the tool tips are behaving strangely - nothing like they look in /webfiles/js/cumuluscharts.js

Have also re-instated beta3 cumuluscharts.js

I am having trouble too with this update. The best spread that was on my graphs was about 5 hrs and no choice with the 6 or 12hr options. Have reverted to b. 3088.

best wishes

Keith

As i have no problem at all i have 2 questions : 1) did you copy all files or just a selection? (Assume you did all but you never know) 2) did you clear the cache before starting the new interface?
(Did not have the time to replicate beaumarisWXs problem, will do that later and report back)

Kind Regards,
I cannot confirm this. just changed my data and debug logging to enabled. cumulus.ini updated but however did NOT change the above values to 0.

I can confirm I updated CumulusMX by overwriting ALL files.

Disabled Data and debug, the above mentioned values did not change at all.

again, I dont see this either. those values are still there in my config. came straight from 3088 to 3089 with a full file overwrite.

Form behind the computer, I just tried to confirm the reported issues and I did not succeed.
Conclusion: the issues are most likely local and not code generated.
So: reinstall CMX (full override) and try again?

Sounds like the two /interface/json/Station*.json files haven't been copied over.

Please folks just copy everything over (except maybe the /web folder if you have customised it), too many people miss files trying to copy them individually.

Mine was a rename of what was there for b3088, a full copy of b 3089 and edit cumulus.ini with the changes identified by Mark then go with b 3089 which caused the probs. mentioned earlier.

Keith.

Now on b.3089. Reverted to updating b.3088 by copying changed files as advised in release of 28 July rather than creating a completely new version from the download file. All good.
