GW1000 - Temp spikes

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Could you please also help ask the following:
1. Whether they are using the latest GW1000 firmware and WS View app.
2. Whether they can send us a screenshot of the Live Data to show the 60C.
3. Whether they can send us their ecowitt station link on ecowitt.net.
1. Yes
2. No screenshot, there is one line in MXdiags
3. I do not have any ecowitt station link on ecowitt.net :P

For item 2 I think they mean the Live View in the WS App. So if you start getting spikes again, could you fire that up and try and capture it happening on there?

@BigDaddy are you reading this?

None so far that I've seen

Code: Select all

Spike removal
Outdoor temperature (C)
9

Code: Select all

Limits
Max temp (C)
40

Min temp (C)
-40
Regarding SolarRad drop to 0 I've seen some but I do have a sanity check (bash script) in place before it's written to Grafana

Code: Select all

if [ $newSolarRad -eq 0 ] && [ $oldSolarRad -gt 1 ]
then
  echo "$(date +%Y-%m-%d\ %H:%M:%S) old = $oldSolarRad, new = $newSolarRad" >> /tmp/noll.log
else
  /usr/bin/rsync -t /tmp/SolarRadOLD.log pi@pi2:/tmp >> /tmp/rsyncSolarRad.log 2>&1
  /usr/bin/rsync -t /tmp/SolarRad.log pi@pi2:/tmp >> /tmp/rsyncSolarRad.log 2>&1
fi

Code: Select all

2020-07-28 10:40:38 old = 14, new = 0
2020-07-30 20:04:24 old = 61, new = 0
2020-08-01 06:46:49 old = 58, new = 0
2020-08-02 06:55:26 old = 14, new = 0
2020-08-02 10:31:28 old = 66, new = 0
2020-08-03 19:58:50 old = 46, new = 0
