Cumulus Support

Easy weather runs OK but I am unable to get Cumulus 1.8.8 to run. the set up is using the W-8681 (W-918) with USB connection to the PC (Windows XP). I am not sure what I should enter for the COM in the station configuration. I have tried different inputs with no success. Any advice would be most welcome.

You don't need to select a COM port, that's for stations which connect to a serial port. You just need to select the Fine Offset setting and it should work. Could you be more specific as to what happens when you run Cumulus, as "unable to get it to run" could mean a number of things. To me, that means the program won't start, but I don't think that's what you mean, if you're able to access the setup screen. Could you zip up the diags folder and attach it here, please?

Thanks Steve, selecting the Fine Offset did the trick. I am not sure why selecting Fine Offset solves the problem though. Anyway many thanks for the assist.

Because that's the type of station that you have.
