First Attempt at website - Issues with picture display

Post by stu_gray10 »

Hello,

I have just created my website and am having some problems with displaying some pictures e.g. the moon.

It just places a placeholder with a red 'x'.

I wondered if there is something in Cumulus that I have not configured or whether I have made a mistake with the files etc.

If anyone can help I would be grateful.

URL is www.earleyweather.com/weather

Many thanks,

Stu

Stu, you have no graphs either, because you haven't created the 'images' folder.

Hi Steve,

Worked out the issue.

Many thanks for your help. The folder structure is case sensitive. I used a capital 'I'.

Hi Stu,
I have just had a look at your website and on the Trends page they are all flat lining. Do you by any change turn your PC of at night? if so you need to turn on Data Logger in Cumulus, so that it can download the data from the weather station.

I hope this Helps.

Ah, yes indeed, Unix systems are case-sensitive.

Sorry to be a pain but you've spelled "station" incorrectly in the title :( Apart from that it looks good.

Hello All,

Many thanks for your comments.

Spelling of "station" corrected

I have checked that the data logger is switched on so I am not sure what is going on here. The PC is left on overnight, but it is possible it hibernates.

I will keep an eye on this and try to work out what is going on.

I hope to be able to add more information to the site when I can work out how to do this. The Cumulus software is excellent.

Thanks

Stu
