Cannot get 1.8.8 started - trying to read easyweather.dat fi
Have been unable to get Cumulus to run since installing 1.8.8. I am trying to access the easyweather.dat data file rather than the unit directly since I have been having problems with the unit. Easyweather running OK and keeps updating/extending the .dat file

Those two bug reports occur when you try to open the debug window, yes? I don't know why they occur, possibly related to why you can't get it to read the data file.
(Edit: I was wondering why you hadn't mentioned the fact that the crashes occur when you try to open the debug window, which would have been useful information, but I now realise that you thought that was supposed to happen. That's not the case; the bugreport.txt file is produced when the program crashes, the debug window is for something else and is not useful for your problem.)
If you turn on the debug log, there may be some error messages in there. But I haven't looked at the "easyweather.dat" code for a very long time, and I don't even know if it still works, with all of the other changes that I've done.
