Oregon WMR928NX

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Oregon WMR928NX

Post by kranich »

Hello. My external temperature sensor THWR288 does not display the temperature in Cumulus MX (all versions), it even causes a complete stop of the whole program and it stops updating the measured values. Everything is fine on the weather station display and in the older version of Cumulus 1 everything also worked. I also have another external temperature and humidity sensor connected, but everything is fine. Does anyone have a similar experience?

You need to start MX with the -debug command line parameter, and then zip up and attach your MXdiags folder.

Those logs have not been run using the "-debug" parameter so there is nothing in them for me to look at. :(

OK, I see the problem, MX is missing a bit of configuration required to decode the Extra Temp only devices. The result is it then reads the data forever (until MX crashes) without decoding any more data.

I'll have to fix this in the next release.

I understand that you are only getting one extra temperature sensor logged, when you expected two - is that correct?
