Website Update stopped at 01:03 in the night.

Hallo, Cumulus Website update stopped at 01:03 in the Night. At this time the websites will not be actuall. Realtime is working fine and going on at this time, but the cumulus websites will not take updates behind this time 01:03.

What can i do now.

I read about time stamp problem, but what must i do now.

Please write for a german user.

Does this happen at 01:03 every night? Turn on the ftp log and the debug log, they might show something.

Ok i have Turn on the ftp log and the debug log, if it stopps this night or everytime i will send the logs here in the forum if the logs might show something.

Ok the website stopped at 01:02, in the ftp log ther is a part of ftp with error in the user to darc.de.
Look into it, sorry but i dont know wy there is a problem with user.
between this time 2 ftp progs are working paralelly, the ftp from weatherlink is working fine and always behind 01:02 its ok, and cumulus ftp stopped at 01:02 i think the mistake is findin´g there.

but from 6:00 in the morning till 01:02 in the night both ftp with virtuel vp are working.

Yes, the ftp log you emailed me shows that the server stops accepting your login at 01:05.

I have no idea why this happens, I guess the problem must be with the server. I can't think of any way that Cumulus could suddenly get the username and/or password wrong at the same time every night. What happens in the logs after this?

I installed Cumulus 1.8.8 last night and this morning I noticed that the data on the web page was frozen at fixed values. This happened around 5 am. I restarted the program and it is working again. I just had time to restart it before leaving for work. Not sure if I have debug file or not.

Was it that the web pages had stopped being uploaded, or that the data in Cumulus itself had stopped updating? The 'last updated' time on the web page would tell you, assuming you use that. Or of course you may have seen that Cumulus itself was updating.

It's a good idea to start a new thread for a problem, unless you know for certain that it's the same problem that the thread is discussing. It gets very confusing dealing with multiple queries in the same thread.

When I first looked at the forum the problem listed in this thread looked very close to my problem.

However, with further thought on the information I have, it appears that the web site continued to update, but the values were held constant.

The data charts on the web site all had constant values beginning at some point in time.

So, it appears that the information that Cumulus had was not being updated. That is, the data were frozen at fixed values.

So this might be a different problem.

Cumulus probably lost contact with the station. When that happens, it just continues to display the same data repeatedly. What type of station do you have?

Hallo Steve,

i send a email to the admin of www.mydarc.de, and i tell him that he must controll the ftplogin on his server
i send him my ftp-log with the error, so i think he will check my account and what is going on on his server in the night at 01:03 Uhr.
I think they will not work at weekend, so we must wait what happens.
I will informate you if i will have anything from admin darc.

PS: The same mistake is comming, when cumulus is working standalone without weatherlink and vpn. I think the mistake can be on darc.server, the loginprocedur will not change, it may be a security-problem on darc-server.

I have a Davis VP2.

Since restarting Cumulus this morning I have not had the issue recur. It has been 8 hours. I'll keep you posted.
