Greetings Hams

For now I have only dared to make a very small change in the color of the menu font (navy). :D

[Website]
GoogleStatsId = ""
CumulusRealTimeLocation = .. / .. / cumulusMX /
CumulusRealTimeInterval = 10
ShowInsideMeasurements = false
ShowUV = true
ShowSolar = true
ColorMenuText = Navy
ColorDropdownMenuBackground = Lightgrey
ColorDropdownMenuText = Black
ColorDropdownMenuHoverBackground = Silver
ColorDropdownMenuHoverText = Black
ColorTitleBar = # E87510
ColorTitleText = White
ColorDashboardCellTitleBarBackground = # C5C55B
ColorDashboardCellTitleBarText = White
ColorDashboardCellText = Black
ColorDashboardCellBackground = White
ColorReportviewText = Black
ColorReportviewBackground = White
ColorFooterLink = # E87510
ColorFooterLinkHover = OrangeRed
ColorFooterBackground = lightgrey
ColorFooterText = Black
ColorBodyBackground = white
ColorDashboardTextAccent = Chartreuse
ColorMenuBackground = Lightgrey

[HansR Edit: I removed ColorMenuBar entry to avoid confusion, as that one does no longer exist ]

@kocher: thanks, subtle change for a coastal city ;)

I notice you have 3.3.5 installed but the parameter ColorMenuBackground is present, as well as ColorMenuBar.
That is strange because ColorMenuBackground only should be there if you install 3.3.6 (i.s.o. ColorMenuBar which then is obsolete).
So something went wrong with your upgrade, I do not fully understand.

If you are not sure, just remove the utils directory and reinstall and run (and upload if you do not use internal FTP).
You - everybody - can also remove ColorMenuBar when at 3.3.6 from the inifile.

NOTE: @all, if you would like to reinitialise the color section, just remove all ini-parameters in the [Website] section starting with Color. A rerun of CumulusUtils will reset all colours and recreate the parameters.

I will have to play with the colours, but later...
There is a minor functional addition (photo in the title header).
Tell me more... I couldn't find anything in the HowTo but did enter a link to .gif and says it was uploaded, but where?
I can't check my uploaded files as am currently locked out by GoDaddy as they have locked it due to a suspicious attach.

Enjoy,
Paul

@Paul:
It is in the README in the release notes and in the text just before that. Don't know where you entered the link, but it is the value of the parameter ColorTitleBackGroundImage. Simply give an image or a link to an image which will be used as an argument to the relevant style parameter. Note that the title bar is not too high and only the top of the picture is shown so you may want to edit first. You can see an example on my site and on that of Segur-le-Chateau. I did not check others so far.
Hope the attack is not too serious and you won't have to rebuild :?

I did see that in the release notes but that didn't mention the format so just took a chance at the full url for the image. It seems to say uploaded 2020-04-29 13:55:40.126 Ini Flush writing:Website, ColorTitleBackGroundImage//public_html/Popsy_s.gif

But haven't found it yet on the site. Also can't see anything on your site. Where do I look?

Enjoy,

Must say GoDaddy was very good. Apparently they detected suspicious activity. I got an email of what I should do and while the PuTTy instructions seemed scary I took the easy way and called them. Support was extremely helpful and I didn't really have to do anything, just reconnect. And they talked me into upgrading to PHP 7.4 and that fixed some resource issues on my hosting and faster page loads. Not sure yet what existing scripts may fail but initial review looked good.

Also as a bonus they gave me a one-year subscription to their Website Security Deluxe which is normally U$191.88 ($C268.59)

Everything good for me - for now anyway!

Enjoy,
Paul

Go Daddy, Go :) That's good.

Wrt the picture: it is the background of the title header and whatever image or link (an URL should be allowed) you give, I don't know where it should say it uploaded. You seem to show me the message from the logfile where it is writing the ini-file. So the value of the parameter is "//public_html/Popsy_s.gif" . Is that correct?

That should become the background of the title, the colour disappears and the photo takes its place. Depending on the size of the photo you only see the top of the photo or the whole thing. Assuming the path is correct.

If testing, just upload a photo to the website root, fill in the name of that photo without a path in the ini-parameter and run CumulusUtils. I assume you use the internal FTP so after that your should see the photo in the title bar.

NOTE: If you look at my site, you see a blue sky with some vague clouds. That is actually the top of a very large photo. In first instance I left the complete photo of 1 Mb. When I found which part I wanted I edited for that small part (a bit bigger than the title bar) and now I have an image of 20kb. So while testing keep it simple, then start using path's.

The size can vary: if you make the screen smaller (e.g. small browser or phone) the header changes shape. You should pay attention when using a photo.

That looks lovely @Patrick :clap: :D
Great consistent colouring work!

@kocher: I follow your progress with interest :D

With respect to the changing of the gauges: I am working on it to do that through the inifile to comply with my design goal that the user has only one place where he should modify settings / looks of the website. However, it appears to be more difficult than I thought to actually get (working) access to the run-time modification of the gauges when working with gauges.js . So this may take some time.

For the time being, the modification of gauges.js is the only correct way do get what you want BUT: be warned. If there is an update of gauges.js, the existing file will be overwritten (automatically if you use the internal FTP) and you lose your changes. So: save your work somewhere to ease the work required to possibly redo it if an overwrite is made during an upgrade!
