I have downloaded MX Ver. 3.5.3. build 3074.
It will not run, Comes up "Station Type not set", (in a command box)
What am I missing ?
Been running Weather Station = Forever Speed WS1080
Using Cumulus 1 release v1.9.4 (build 1099) - 28 November 2014
No problems but would like to try MX

If you have not copied your Cumulus.ini file and data across from your Cumulus 1 installation Cumululus MX will not know your station type.
So you have two paths open to you,
1. Copy your data files and Cumululus.ini file across to the CumulusMX installation (check it is Cumulus.ini with a capital C, rename if not).
2. Start CumulusMX and the fire up your browser and type in http://localhost:8998/ or an IP address if it on another host on your network, and the when the Interface appears in your browser go to Settings / Station Settings and select Fine Offset in Station type as you first did with Cumulus 1.
So you have two paths open to you,
