@kocher: OK, I see you now on the map (pfff...). Only need to fill in your website - inifile - to have the easy access to your weather site!

Hello Courtil,
Thank you for the links, I will add you to the pwsFWI list in the blog. I just checked out your site through maps, looks good and thanks for using CumulusUtils.
I noticed a problem in the display of the months in the graphs module (eg Monthly Rain) while that is correct on the other French site of Ségur le Château. The months names are generated from the current language setting (current culture in MS terms) on the machine where it is generated, assuming you use the same settings on the website. Apparently that is not the case with your site. Could you look into that?
Cheers, Hans

Version 2.0.0 is online

This version contains new functionality namely my Yet Another Dayfile Reader (Yadr), in the good tradition of everybody who does something with the internals of Cumulus gets to the point of making something like this.

It also marks the end of development of CumulusUtils as a utility, providing independent functionalities. It remains, I will maintain it and I might add something in future but I will stop actively expanding it. The reason is, that I want to turn to something which I see as more important and more challenging, basically an all encompassing websystem standing beside Cumulus. Not that I think you guys need that, you all have beautiful websites with great functionalities, begged, stolen or borrowed.... whatever. They look great.

But I think it is a missing link AND a challenge. Many techniques come together there and I may fill up some of my own knowledge gaps.
Anyway, I won't disappear, but don't expect anything new soon.

Always reachable for issues with the utils or otherwise of course.

Hi Michel,
I checked out your site a bit closer and you may want to look at some of the values in your dayfile.txt (look at the top10 records), some values are very extreme! Also your 'normal' values need to be filled in (in the Cumulus.ini) to give the graphs some meaning.
Cheers, Hans

Hi Hans,
v.2.0 installed and works as advertised. Well done again! http://www.komokaweather.ca/wxYadr.php
I am going to have to develop a DB to keep track of my several dayfile readers ;)

Keep enjoying,
Paul

Hi Hans, the link http://www.komokaweather.ca/wxYadr.php does work (most of the time :( ) and appears to be a GoDaddy redirect issue that seems to fail periodically - try the direct www.komokaweather.com/komokaweather-ca/wxYadr.php

Enjoy,
Paul

@Hans,

I cannot, and with me the browser, find yadr.css.

first line in Yadr.txt
<link rel = "stylesheet" href = "yadr.css" type = "text / css" />

@Harm: aha, sloppy me. Well spotted! :clap: I started out with the wildwood css file but that was far too large too generate so i simply refrenced it. Then while things evolved i modified the whole thing heavily such that it became small enough. So currently it is generated in yadr.txt, no need for a yadr.css. You can ignore it, i will remove it in a next release. Thnx. 8-)
