The thread of CumulusUtils is expanding in a lot of directions pretty fast.
Recently a conversation between freddie and me on the thread of CumulusUtils led to different ideas of a solution:

1) Make new threads for a new release in the main board;
2) Make a board (or a subforum) for CumulusUtils like there exist for Saratoga, 'Weather by You', etc...

Wrt point 1) it is clear that information regarding that specific developer/tool gets dispersed. That is not good for identity, nor for the user who is looking for information.
Wrt point 2) one might expect to do similar for e.g. the new template of BCJkiwi. In general I think that could be decided for tools / templates / developers who produce things which rise above a certain level and (can) serve everybody. The developers with a sub-board can more easily fix threads they think important, direct messages to where they think belong etc...

You could also think about placing according to activity or importance or whatever you see fit.
Anyway, I would like to see CumulusUtils have a sub-board as currently the thread is expanding in all directions and I had to stop an in itself interesting thread.

Thanks again and i have the following additional remarks:
  1. The first thread is sticky, could you move everyhing but the first message to a separate thread named : 'Original release thread'.
  2. Could I get moderator rights for this sub forum - not required I guess but might be easier.
  3. Could you switch comments off for the first thread for everybody but me? (So I can use it as a message/release thread)?

1. Done
2. Done
3. It is now locked. You as a moderator should be able to modify it by using the Edit icon. If you cannot let me know as I think I have the permissions right but my test may not be valid as an Administrator gets all rights!!

Off you go!!

Yes, I can modify it. It would be great if I (and only I) could also reply to it for (new release) announcements.

For the rest it looks great, thanks :D
Let's see if I still got all the followers by posting a message :)

Apart from the Admins you are the only one who can modify that post as it is locked. You can either edit it or click on Locked and hopefully the permissions will allow you and only you to add another post if that is what you want to do.
