Diary editor: display with multiple lines

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Diary editor: display with multiple lines

Post by andrea_iw2ntf »

Hi everyone, in these dramatic days, I am using the CumulusMX diary not to mark the fallen snow or weather events, but for COVID-19.
Yes, I know it would not be the correct tool, but it is very useful and accessible. I ask if it was possible to make it easier, allowing you to read what is written on "multiple lines" and not just "one line".

I also remind everyone that on my page

http://www.fracassi.net/meteopassione/cumulus_mx.htm

ready-to-use raspberry images can be downloaded.

thank you! andrea iw2ntf

Currently no - I looked at multi-line when I implemented the diary, and the tools used would not allow it. So this functionality is parked for now, any line endings you put in get stripped out.
