NOTE in Announcement thread
To avoid confudion, I think the Note in the announcement thread : **NOTE** CumulusMX does not currently work correctly with Mono version 6.0. Please use version 4.x or 5.x for now. can be removed. If there is a problem it has to do with the locale. Mono does not give a problem (as far as I know.

I think CMX currently works around all known locale issues, so yes I think that note can be removed. I run ver 6.8, but I'm using eng_GB.
The problem is mono implements it's own locale scheme, for whatever reason the designers decided to ignore the operating system settings.

OK. I am using NL and it works.
Maybe some unknown locals give a problem. You could let a warning, wording that in case of problem a lower Mono version might solve it.
