Not Seeing Moon.

Not sure what I'm missing in the 3071 release regards the moon image, I think I've covered all bases.
http://weather.inverellit.com/index2.htm
Base Image exists it \web along with the generated one, moon.png.
moon.png is getting uploaded,
http://weather.inverellit.com/images/moon.png
Only thing I did a little different was NOT replace my indexT.htm,
but instead renamed the new one as indexnewT.htm & have it added to process & upload as index2.htm.
Any suggestions.
(My old index page is still current using the older moon method).
Edit: Fixed. There's a typo in the new indexT.htm
the double quotes after
images/moon.png
Code: Select all
<td rowspan="3"><img src=images/moon.png" alt="Moon" width="64" height="64" style="margin: 0px 10px;" /></td>

I see you have it now
There is a reason it may not be available immediately after installing MX b3071
MX b3071 will create the image on start up , and every hour on the hour after that.
However, while the image is created in /web folder on startup, it is NOT FTP'd until the next hour comes around. I had hoped this would have been changed to upload on restart in the release but it seems not to be the case.
There are some options:-
1. Wait until the next hour comes around.
2. Use the CumulusMX Console Settings / FTP Now!
3. Instead of (or as well as) using the Settings / Internet settings / Include Moon image File,
add it to Extra web files
C:\CumulusMX\web\moon.png | yourdomain/yourwebsite/images/moon.png and tick FTP
This will send it every interval

All the above was correct, so pretty sure the issue was the rouge double quotes in the Distro.
As per the line of code above.
Dev view was showing me this with the quotes at the end of the extension....
I'm pretty sure it's an error at line 24 of the latest indexT.htm in the zip.

The error there is NOT
" after .png
It's
missing " before images
Code: Select all
<td rowspan="3"><img src="images/moon.png" alt="Moon" width="64" height="64" style="margin: 0px 10px;" /></td>
It is fortunate the latest browsers 'forgive' you having NO quotes !

Oops! I don't use the template for my index page. It is static and uses Ajax calls to get the data. That's probably how I missed it.

FFS,
Maybe it wasn't inside their contract OR SALARY PACKAGE to tick off all the boxes Re testing before release,
Edit:- @mcrossley on the other hand is on the $15 mil salary to maintain Cumulus, much like our own Alan Joyce who manages Qantas.

And that's to save people like me.
Thank's for the correct clarification.
(How's that for Tautology!).
Cheers.

Doh! Yes my browser "self corrected" the error when I tested it - fixed in 3.5.1 (b3072) release I just pushed out.

Barely 2 minutes after I downloaded 3.5.0 and copied it across to my live disc. Still only 2 files to change!

Yes, I noticed David, Mark has changed the version, not just the build number for your message in the pink area!
EDIT: that is updated correctly now

Yes, I noticed that your pages are "in maintenance" today and missing the Ajax updates, and see that even static information like your weather station type is missing on that index page, suspect you could reduce the upload content you process every 5 seconds if you added to the basic page those items that rarely change.
