Cumulus Support

Wondering if there is a way to connect my La Crosse WiFi Weather Station to Cumulus. It's a model C83100.
It uses my wifi to send data to their mobile app, but won''t (not compatible) to Weather Underground. So I'm assuming there is some way to get that data since technically it sends it thru the internet so I can view my conditions from anywhere on the app , just don't know how to get the info or plug it into Cumulus.

I am afraid that these are the only La Crosse Weather Stations supported.

WS-2300 range (all model numbers of the form 23xx). Use of a USB/Serial adapter is not supported with these stations.

And that's what confuses me, as mine doesn't use usb/serial. It's WIFI/wireless. And on the setup screen I noticed an area to add the TCP/IP settings for the station. So was asking about that.
Since I assume it has to broadcast the info somehow for it to work with their phone app.
If it doesn't work, it doesn't work, guess I'll have to learn programing in Python to see if that works as some claim. Just thought I'd try here first as this looked easier and alot cooler.

It would appear this model connects to your local wireless WiFi and also gets details for forecasts from AccuWeather and integrates with a Phone App where you can set things up.
Since it does not have any means of directly connecting to PC running Cumulus or CumulusMX there is little chance of getting this to work. The best you could achieve is to intercept any data packets it send via the WiFi Router, but as far as I can see there are no details on how you would do that or details of any protocol they use. It is basically a stand-alone weather station for your local use.

The Ws-2300 series mentioned above has a COM Port in the Base Station that can be connected to a PC.

I was worried about that..... but thought it was worth a try.
Guess it's back to the drawing board and see if I can figure out the coding someone else wrote claiming it should work, or how to intercept the data stream and see if then I can somehow integrate it here or somewhere else.
Just wish Amazon would have checked their details a little more before listing it as wifi capable with Weather Underground.
