Cumulus Support

Having trouble when starting cumulus mx.exe see attachment for one example
sometimes it hangs without or stops downloading from Davis vantage vue have not made any changes been running for 18 months with no problems vue is connected via meteobridge tplink router,Cumulus MX 3.3.0 b3063

That DOS screen looks fine and indicates that CumulusMX is running normal.
Is the data being logged in your log files?
Have you checked the MXdiags file for any errors or abnormalities?

Paul i have not needed to look at MXdiags file before here is the first few lines from them is this correct

Yes what you have shown seems normal, however the full MXdiags may have more information.

What do you mean "hangs" and "stops downloading"?
If the issue just recently started after 18 months could there have been some other things change when you updated to b3063 as that is only about one month ago?

You may wish to enable debug and data logging as that will add more information in MXdiags, but will get quite large if there are a lot of errors logged so you may want to watch that.

Paul will see what happens over the next few days when it hangs it only shows
1 connected to station
2 no download starts
3 stalls for a while and then says normal running
4 if i bring dash board up with web browser no live data is displaying

at the moment all is working ok

Hi,
Glad it is ok now. If that happens, shutting down CumulusMX and then checking MXdiags would be a good source to see what happened (A new MXdiags file is created each time CuimulusMX is started).
