I have moved house and I want to start the new location today, but keep all the station settings etc. as I am using the same weather station.
From my old Cumulus MX directory what do I keep, and what do I archive out of the way.
Assume all the month data files, alltime etc. need to go. Culumulus.ini needs to stay with new start date, but anything else?

Re: New Cumulus MX location
I moved house just before Christmas; and restarted Cumulus 1 last 20 January.
My new home needs a lot of work done on it, and I decided against moving to MX, but I can't see why the files to keep/archive should be different.
Basically I retained 'Cumulus.ini', changing lat, long, Alt, start date, station name, location. So I'm agreeing what you suggest, but naming a few more lines of the file to alter.
[I decided to change my barometric pressure units from inHg to hPa, but that was because at old location comparing with an aneroid barometer only marked in imperial units seemed important, now the importatnce is to keep to units that Fine Offset reports in and those quoted on weather forecasts and by the Cumulus MX web pages of someone on this forum a few miles away from my new home; he does not report wind, but I've used his (corrected by him)rain figures to get right rain total for January and year so far].

Re: New Cumulus MX location
Do you have a website?
In my case when I upgraded my station I kept the old Cumulus data on my site under a /Historic path.
Means I don't have the random spikes, but I can still look back over it with the dayfile reader.
