New record at startup

Hi,

I had several times a WRONG new windchill record at cumulus startup.
I use the calculated windchill, is there a problem about that ?
Perhaps all the needed data for the calculation aren't updated?

Yes, I think that's it, this is a problem specific to the Oregon stations where Cumulus doesn't have any control over the order that the data is read. It calculates the wind chill when the wind speed packet arrives. If a temperature packet hasn't been received before that, it will be using a temperature of zero in the windchill calculation.

Isn't it possible after startup to wait that both wind and temperature packet are received before doing the windchill calculation ?

Yes indeed, that's exactly what I've done to fix the bug. I thought it too obvious to mention
