Cumulus Support

Hi All,

Upgraded from 3055 to 3056 yesterday & now have no data on the dashboard in IE.

All good in both Chrome & Edge, but not IE11.

but even after clearing all temp files & also searching for instances of cached js & html files & deleting I still can't get it up.
(Did find the cached dashboard.js & deleted it).

On all Win7, Win8.1 & Win10 PC's.

All background & gauges are displayed, just empty data fields.
I note that the alarms are present at the bottom, so IE has loaded the latest html.

Other thing I note is that the version number is not visible, just displays "Cumulus MX b".

All other pages of the interface are working fine and as expected.

Didn't think to check the Developer view till just now & in there it shows an error.

I don't use IE, but is there an option to allow sounds on webpages? It might be blocking them.

Looks like that bit of code might be to notify the user that the option is turned off.

Mines turned on anyway & sounds are working in the other browsers.

Ah! Bloomin' IE, it doesn't understand arrow functions - introduced in 2015!

I'll change it something like... for the next release.

You could just decide to simply skip support for IE.
I would not blame you if you do.

Well,

Another Yes to that this last week.
Have two Server on the build ATM, both WinSvr 2019.

Was expecting to find Edge popping up by default, but there's only IE.

Would be interesting to know if it's revised in there latest Server OS.
