Some unexplainable pressure issue !

Post by Eugen-Oradea »

I've noticed one strange stuff.
I have in the recent extremes for today a value of 1010 mb pressure.
This value cannot be found in the history data base or on the graphs.
Cumulus is set to save data in the history data base every minute.
See for yourself ! What can be the cause of this ?!

Just more corrupt data, I guess. Not every value that is read from the station goes into the logs or onto the graphs, Cumulus reads the data every few seconds.

What's your sea-level pressure correction? Around 7 mb by any chance? But I don't really know how the La Crosse handles all of that; Cumulus just reads the corrected pressure. It's hard to see how it could just forget to add it in for one reading.

My sea level pressure correction is 17.4 mb, according to the absolute pressure which is expressed for 146 m altitude. I will have to monitor the console itself and to reset daily the pressure min/max values. According to the manual of the LC 2350,which is as thick as a bible, the pressure is read every 15 seconds. Probably it was a flash drop of the pressure for less than a minute, I can't figure any other explanation.
