WH2080 (WS-0101) receiver does not send data to computer

I've been having problems with the WS-0101 console for 2 weeks. Suddenly, data from the receiver is not sent to Cumulus and they are constantly the same. Only a console restart helps but shortly. On the console itself data may sometimes stop updating but it generally receives sensor signal and I see current conditions.

A message appearing in the Cumulus:
Lost contact sensor!!! 100: Data: 00 2C E1 00 FF FF FF 00 00 FF FF FF 80 00
After a reboot, new data is uploaded on Cumulus but after a few minutes nothing changes on Cumulus. Only on the console temperature or wind velocity are up-to-date. I tried changing the battery, computer, cable, USB input, but it did not work.

The console is from 2012, so it's probably dying. The pressure sensor does not work.

Or maybe can I do something about it?

By the way, the WH1080 receiver with the same signal frequency (868 Hz) could properly recognize the sensor signals from WH2080 version?

I think you've answered your own question !

OK, then. So I repeat the question, the WH1080 receiver with the same signal frequency (868 Mhz) could properly recognize the sensor signals from WH2080 version?

Hi,

Probably Not.

It depends on the exact "Brand" or "Badge" of the Weather Station, but in my experience (Clas Ohlson 1080, 868 MHz) the Wireless Protocol was changed from the Original (FSK) to the "new" (OOK) coding system around 2014. So a (868 MHz) model bought in 2012 is likely to be FSK whilst anything bought in the last few years probably OOK.

It can be very difficult to identify the specific versions of any of the FO Transmitters or Consoles, but the "Photos/Insides...." sticky threads at the top of the Cumulus 1 : Fine Offset section of this forum might help.

Cheers, Alan.
