Hopefully I have not missed something obvious, but
It looks like this is using CumulusMX b3043 (from realtime.txt) https://vejr.perlaustsen.dk/realtime.txt
However the template footer says Cumulus (1.9.0 - b958) https://vejr.perlaustsen.dk/index.php

Also the screen shot of CumulusMX settings shows upload to /subdom/perlaustsen/vejr/CUtags.php
But can only find https://vejr.perlaustsen.dk/CUtags.php?sce=dump

Enjoy,
Paul

Paul, I think that's because he has uploaded a copy of CUtags.php which was in the zip and from Ken's site in 2011, to his own web site.

Hi Mark,
Yes that is what I also thought and that his Extra web files setup shows a different path for the remote filename, so a new processed file not updating that original in that different folder.

Enjoy,
Paul

Yes, the CU-plugin.zip contains a sample (from 2011) CUtags.php that is there so at initial installation on a website, the template will 'work' (not have missing file errata).

It is fully intended that the sample CUtags.php be replaced by the user uploading (via Extra files, CUtags.txt -> CUtags.php) to their website. That just hasn't happened in this case.

The issue is we have no idea how that remote path relates to the web site, but that is probably where the problem lies. However he must have the path correct somewhere because the real time data is being uploaded correctly.

I wanted to try deleting that file just in case it was a permissions issue not being able to overwrite it.

When I wisit the website, temperature today are starting with 51°F - but after a moment changing to correct temperature.
I am wondering why only today is changed. Is it because CUtags.php takes the data from dayfile?

CumulusMX have the right data:

Why can't the Saratoga script give me the right temperature for yesterday?

Because you are not uploading CUtags.php to your web server correctly.
The FTP log I requested would help us diagnose this for you.

Cumulus creates a file from your CUtags template file (I think yours is either CUtags.txt or CUtagsT.htm - I'm not sure as you have both in your config). The file is then transferred to your web server and stored there as CUtags.php. It won't be created on your Pi with the name CUtags.php - the naming occurs when the file is FTP'd by Cumulus to your web server. The same process is used by Cumulus for many other files. What I (and others) are trying to show you is that this process is not working correctly for your CUtags.php. If you supply your FTP log file then we can see if the FTP part of the process is working as intended. If it isn't then there will be useful error messages in the FTP log.

OK, that's weird, it appears to be set up correctly to me. But it is not attempting to perform the FTP.

Could you post your Cumulus.ini file as well please? - REMOVE any passwords in it first.

Would it be possible for you to install the latest version of Cumulus MX (b0347) in another folder and try using that? I cannot fix anything it that old 3043 build anyway.

A couple of observations about your config though...

1. You have LOOP2 enabled, but it appears you have an old console that does not support this command. Disable the option in your config.
2. You have gauges.htm set to be processed and uploaded at the real-time interval.
- a. That file only needs to be processed and uploaded once - you can disable it after that.
- b. That file isn't in the FTP log either, so it looks like ALL the extra file entries are being ignored for some reason!

Also, you have Active FTP set -- that should likely be turned off so you use Passive FTP as the upload mechanism.

It's also surprising that none of the extra files (CUtags.php and gauges.htm) appear in the FTP log.. it looks like it is not sending them to the site.

I have changed the ini file with "UseDavisLoop2=0"
I will try making a new fresh CumulusMX install during the day.

Did a fresh install of CumlusMX build 3047 on a PI3
Installed CUtags.txt in root of CumulusMX
installed dayfile.txt and Yesterday.ini in the data directory
Found an error in extra files setup. The place for the CUtags.txt is : /home/pi/CumulusMX/CUtags.txt
In MXsetup I marked Use SSL for FTP (FTPS) - (My web will handle both types)
This made a change. Now yesterday temperature is 0 !
ScreenShot247.jpg
Will waite and see tomorrow if yesterday wil come up with something. (Still don't know where Ken is getting the data from! - is it the ini files?)
I can still not se any errors in the ftp report :(
Can I make a test of these extra files?
And the https://vejr.perlaustsen.dk/wxstatus.php don't look as expected.
Got an error in putty after a "ctrl c" - did not get the promt:
ScreenShot248.jpg
I have enclosed the mxdiags file 20190223-143319.txt
Don't know if it has any significance
Thanks
