Just an idea for improving the community using Cumulus... have a new forum category where people only announce their new weather station. Posts should tell us their model, location, capability, URL for weather data, URL to other weather services being used (PWS and WU), perhaps include a photo of the installation, etc.
This could turn into quite a "database" of Cumulus weatherstations.

Yes, I think this was suggested a while ago but I never got around to it. Then we got the user map, and Paul's topic with all the banners, and I guess I just decided that was enough. I may still get around to it, though!
