Mark et al. As there appears to be no solution to this problem perhaps we should call it a day. I do not want to revert to W7.
I do have another PC running W XP not connected to the Internet. Is there any way that I can download Cumulus MX to a flash drive then download to my XP?

MX will not run on Windows XP

Could you send the logger to Instromet to confirm whether it is functional or not?

Before upgrading to W10 the logger was working perfectly. Will however have a word wirh Instromet.

Can Cumulus 1 be downloaded re above?

Yes, you can still download Cumulus 1 - make sure you get the correct version for your logger, Cumulus 1 was hard coded with the interface speed.
