Cumulus Support

Hello

Does anyone know what would cause some of my pages not to be updated, my Guages one has not been updated since 17/11 and the records/trends since yesterday morning?

Any help would be great.

Unlikely to be an ftp problem, it may be failing to process the file, and hence re-uploading an old one each time. If you look at the current (i.e. latest) file in the diags folder, it may have logged some messages about errors processing the files.

Yes, the files in the diags folder called cumulus.009 etc; they're just text files.

Cheers Steve, I have had a look but it makes no sence to me at all. But I always get this error when I do a manual web update, so dont know if this is causing it. I have found that if I login to my ftp account, it will connect for a good 5 seconds then disconnect and try to reconnect in 10 seconds?? but I can connect to other ftp hosts without any problems.

I'd assumed that it couldn't be an ftp problem as I'm not having any problems myself. But there does seem to be a problem with your account. I tried logging in to it myself and I get disconnected after a few seconds too. I'll investigate.

I've got Dreamhost looking at it but they don't seem to be able to figure out what the problem is. My site is working fine.

Thats not good, just hope they can find out. It won't be caused by the amount of data I have on there will it? I don't think its alot, as I cant check.

Well I don't know what was wrong with the FTP Steve, but it seems ok now.

Just as well, because Dreamhost seem not to have been able to find a fault, and given up.
