many thanks for that post great info there some of which i was looking for so you saved me a job! i prefer cumulus already and am thinking of trying ver 2 now ive got to grips with this version

(a patch is available for 1.9.4 build 1099 that extends the date range of drop-down menus to 2030)

Another Cornish station - welcome - as apenwith suggests I'm in the far west.
Well worth searching the forum for many tips - first of all don't mount the rain sensor on a pole - not in Cornish winds - it leads to all sorts of errors. I won't repeat what's already around so have a good forum search.

yes im only in helston, theres so much to read about here what a great place for sure, am going to move the rain sensor as soon as i have it all permanently mounted
