I have WH-1090. It has been working well ince installation a few weeks ago.
Yesterday when closing to reboot computer an error message came up briefly and disappeared. Since then there are no data getting through to display on Cumulus:
At the same time on the station itself I have lost contact with the external sensors, although the inside temp, RH & barometric pressure are still displaying on the station.
I have restarted the computer & the station, swapped to an alternative USB socket to no avail.
I will check the sensors outside soon.
Can anyone suggest to me how to proceed, to investigate further please?

Re: Sudden loss of connectivity
Cumulus deliberately won't work when the sensors have lost contact, although I guess it ought to make it more obvious that it's doing that. Currently, it just logs a message to the debug log, if switched on.
Edit: I've just changed it so it logs to the error log and flashes the error light.

Re: Sudden loss of connectivity
Thanks Steve. I will cehck what's happened to the sensors. I take it that the info from the station itself (internal temp and humidity) is not enough to allow Cumulus to continue displaying that information if the external input stops.
I will check what's happened to the external sensors.

Re: Sudden loss of connectivity
It could actually just display and log the pressure and the indoor temp and humidity; I can't remember the thinking behind not doing that. If I can't think of a good reason for it, I'll change it so it does.vetgmc wrote:I take it that the info from the station itself (internal temp and humidity) is not enough to allow Cumulus to continue displaying that information if the external input stops.
