Having trouble setting up a couple of functions on 2 graphs. I would like the gust average to show similar smoothness to the gust green plot here http://www.nelsonm.plus.com/weather/trends.htm and, how can I show the Temp Min/Max/Av for a month as it is at the same URL ?
My wind average is very 'rough' and too detailed and the scale of the Temp graph is just 24 hours and not even current
Regards
Barry

Re: Graph scales and averages
That's a different type of weather station, so you can't really compare. Cumulus just plots once a minute whatever the last reading was from the station. You could try this to see if you like it more: on the Configuration | Display screen, untick 'plot latest gust'. This will cause Cumulus to plot only the peak gust from the last 10 minutes. At my location, this gives a result like this:opticsman0127 wrote:Having trouble setting up a couple of functions on 2 graphs. Do you mean how can you give a URL for it? You could reference the image directly: http://www.barrypemb.f2s.com/images/tempm.pnghow can I show the Temp Min/Max/Av for a month as it is at the same URL ?
If you want to be able to reference it on an html page on its own, you will need to write your own page.
The other plot on the wind graph that isn't the gust, you mean? I'm not sure what I can do about that. I suppose I could make the plot interval configurable, and then it would plot less points. My wind average is very 'rough' and too detailed
Looks OK to me. Or do you mean the daily min/max/average graph?and the scale of the Temp graph is just 24 hours and not even current

Re: Graph scales and averages
Hi Steve,
OK on the gust setting, tried it and will revert back to ticking the box. The impression of 'gusts' is much better with 'plot latest gust' ticked.
On the graph scale, see attached screen shot. It is showing 00:00 to 00:00

Re: Graph scales and averages
It's a daily graph and you've only been running Cumulus for 2 days. Once you have a few more days stored away it will start to look a bit more sensible:opticsman0127 wrote:On the graph scale, see attached screen shot. It is showing 00:00 to 00:00
