Legend lines

Post by opticsman0127 »

A suggestion if I may. Is it possible to increase the weight of the coloured legend line on the graphs. It is sometimes difficult to identify the difference in colours due to the 'thinness' of the current ones, especially if the colours used are rather darker shades. If they were 50% thicker, it would make them far clearer to compare with the actual graph plot which, is easily colour identified. Just a thought.

Continuing to be amazed and delighted with this software

I'm afraid not. This has been asked for before, but the legend is simply a section of the actual graph. I would have to increase the thickness of the graph line as well, and when I have tried to do that in the past, it caused problems. The charting package that I am using is the basic version that was included with Delphi, and so is fairly limited.

Using the 3D option increases the size of the legend symbols, but you may not like the 3D graphs (I don't).

Totally agree, the 3D looks awful compared with single line. I think the trick is to use colours with widely vaying intensities to make the legend identification work off shade, not colour.

Thanks anyway for considering the problem.
