That's a nice feature to have added the moon
Waxing crescent was a little bit difficult to translate into French ;)

Here is the new file (please post it on the wiki David)

It is working fine on my station, but I'm not sure if some translations will overlap the "dawn" tag in cumulus main screen (we will see when the moon will be "Lune gibbeuse décroissante". In that case I would suppress "Lune" !

Bye and many thanks
Alain

Hi,

The strings.ini new tags are very interesting. :D
Is the pressure trend in the "to do" list ? :?:

Hi Steve

Looks like you are just about there with strings.ini

I figure all you have left to do is

* Pressure
* Month names (or is that O/S generated, which should give the correct language)

Is there anything else?

Actually, I think I'm going to go the whole way eventuallly, and allow the whole UI to be configured/translated. It won't be perfect, as the new strings will have to fit in the same space as the existing ones, but it should make a few non-English users happy. I'm actually quite disappointed that "risiss" hasn't said anything about this new facility, after all the nagging I got from him about non-English versions of Cumulus ;)

Well, for what it is worth Steve, I think it is a brilliant feature and will save hours of scripting on the web site and has the added bonus of moving the UI closer to multi-lingual.

(I even refrained from bringing in the code-freeze police ;) )

I was wondering when you would mention that :)

I do seem to be working on C1 again; there are a few reasons for this. Mainly that I'm just fickle :)

Hi Steve
I must be missing somthing, you say the latest addition to the ini file effects pressure/temperature readout. I get output for all the others but not for the temperature. does this not work on the WH1080. I have the latest 875 version.
I agree with everyone else this custom forecast is really good.

The temperature trend text substitution should work for any station type. Can you show me what you've put in strings.ini, and what you're actually getting for the <#temptrendtext>?
