Dew Point Whacko

Post by akasonny »

Using latest build of 1.8.8, my dewpoint graph went whacko pretty much out ouf the blue....nothing was changed which might explain this. Anybody have ideas?

I've probably introduced a bug with my changes to cater for 100% humidity - I'll have a look.

Didn't take long to find, after I'd looked at your very low humidity on your web site. It's a combination of the code which handles the fact that the Fine Offset units give "255" for humidity when it goes below 10% (actually, yours seems to go lower than 10), and the new code to handle dew points at 100% humidity. I'll put a fix out later.

Yes, I was aware the Fine Offset knock-offs (Zephyr in my case) can't handle humidity of less than 10% (had I only knew that before I bought the unit...humidity often well below 10% here) and I suspected it had something to do with that as the problem coincides exactly with the times of low humidity (duh...lessee humidity, dewpoint....humidity, dewpoint...).

In any event, glad you spotted it right away. I'll watch for the fix and thanks!
