WU Updates - MX4043

Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

WU Updates - MX4043

Today I looked at my Weather Underground page and noticed it wasn't updating. Looking in the MXdiag log I found:

2017-01-30 14:41:46.931 WU update: Connection refused
2017-01-30 14:41:51.924 WU update: Connection refused
2017-01-30 14:41:56.922 WU update: Connection refused
2017-01-30 14:42:01.940 WU update: Connection refused


CWOP updates were working and all the FTP for my website were working. This continued until I decided to restart MX. Since then it seems to be running fine. Curious if anyone else has seen this? Attaching the whole log file as well.

I've seen it happen before, especially during and after a WU outage. Not the fault of Cumulus is my assessment. WU sucks.

My station quit updating on WU sometime overnight. The forecast page was showing somewhat random data for how long it had been off line. It showed I had been offline for 102 days one time. I hadn't restarted CMX in 93 days so I stopped and restarted and it seems OK now. I am still running 3038. I haven't gotten around to updating yet.

The website FTP was working throughout.

I had the same thing I'm on version 3041. stopping CumulusMX and starting it again made it working again. if it was weather underground it wouldn't go back to normal after stopping CumulusMX and starting CumulusMX?
