Hello Simon
Thank you for your helpful advice. I have managed to get the gauges working properly in htm format. Strangely the gauges in html format have now returned to a previous issue I had in that these gauges are larger than the surrounding 'box' when displaying on my pc yet show correctly sized when accessed via my tablet or mobile. This is a minor issue and I'm content to put up with it!
You mention the newest version of the Steelseries gauges but I cannot locate an update to 2.7.7 Even by downloading the latest Cumulus 3293a and assuming that this will have the latest version of Steelseries, I still get reloaded gauges that show 2.7.6. Is there a separate download? If so I cannot find it. Again just a minor blip.

the html version shows 2.7.6 because it is hard coded in the html file. I had asked Neil to update this but i guess its been forgotten. the fix is in my post here:

This request for help relates to the scripts updated on 29 March 2024.
1. Please tell me what coding that I have to change so that the top of the drop-down box (Gauge Display Options) is in line with the heading "Steel Series Gauges".

2. Please tell me what coding that I have to change so that colour scheme of the gauges in the 2nd screenshot is the same as those in the 3rd shot below. The 3rd shot is taken from the most recent release of the ai2 interface.

Further to 'The Dalek Hunter's request, I have now included Lightning Strikes on the Dashboard of the default website. If you don't have a sensor, it won't display but if you do, you will need to add some web tags to the websitedataT.json file.
All information is included in the 'readme' file included in the new upload available on the wiki.
Enjoy.

Hi all
Further to the update yesterday, I noted that the gauges were not using the modified tooltips so the last update (with tooltips) is now available on the wiki.

Update: I found the issue, in the "ws-extra.js" file, in the latest update, "/data" directory was the issue, in the past it has been ""/
Sorry to bother yall!
Neil, just a note, it appears the latest alternative website update has broken something. I've uploaded the files to my web server as I have done in the past updates to the website and now the website appears to be broken. Restoring back to the last revision returns it to operation.

Perhaps you could edit the first post and link to the wiki for download. It would make it much easier for users to find.

Oops. Sorry about that. I forgot to clear the dataPath variable in ws-extra.js. The latest upload corrects that.

Hi all
If you use a subfolder for your data there is an error in the ws-extra.js file that causes the gauges not to work. Line 22 should read:
Code: Select all
if( dataPath.length > 0 && dataPath.slice(-1) != '/') { dataPath += '/'; }
Alternatively DON'T put a trailing '/' in the dataPath variable value - the error in my coding always puts one there.
I will release an updated zip file shortly.
