Cumulus Support

I can't seem to find an answer here for my problem so apologies if it's been covered before.

The wind vane on my Vue turns freely but doesn't seem to change position in Cumulus ie it seems stuck at 7 degrees no matter which way the vane is pointing

Is this a common problem?

Is your console showing valid values for wind speed ansd direction? I suspect that it is sending Cumulus an 'error' value such as 32767, which becomes 7 when Cumulus does a 'modulo 360' on it. The correct error value is a negative number, and Cumulus checks for this.

Hi Steve, thank you for speedy reply and apologies for my slow one!

Wind speed is showing fine on the console but no direction is showing, which points to either a console or weather station problem NOT a Cumulus one. Sorry for being a numpty!
