ok ive done that but have i got to do this to get the trends.htm to work /home/pi/usb/davis/web/tempdata.json

Yes, if you want to copy rather than ftp, you will need to add to Extra Files all of the json files which MX is creating.
Don't tick 'process' or 'realtime'.

ok thanks for the heads up mate and ive check the logs and no errors i know u do is in ur own time do u know when is there a big update comeing

I have no idea when any update is coming. I've retired from work and I'm travelling in a motorhome, trying to spend as little time as possible on Cumulus and the forum. Going out for a walk in the rain in the forest now...
