realtimegauges.txt upload

Hi
Before I downloaded and installed build 3042, I read the post with the enhancements and fixes mentioned. I saw that realtimegauges.txt uploaded automatically, so I unchecked it in the extra web files part of Cumulus, and it was working fine.
I read in the latest post about the realtimegauges.txt file interfering with the other files, so does that mean the code for that has been removed, and I need to check the option to upload the realtimegauges.txt in my extra web files again? I ask, because the realtimegauges.txt hasn't been uploading since upgrading to 3043.
Kind regards.

I ddn't remove the code, I just changed it so it didn't interfere with other uploads. I tested it and it was working for me. As there is a limited set of circumstances that I can test, it is quite possible that there is another bug which manifests itself with your settings. Is the realtimegauges.txt file being created and updated in the web folder on your computer? You definitely have the new option to upload realtimegauges.txt set? Any errors in the diags files?

Forgive me for not having my eyes open, but I cannot see a new option to upload the text file? It isn't being processed either, last instance was 19:30 yesterday.
The reason I didn't check for any of that (after upgrading to 3042) was because it was still automatically being processed and uploaded, even when I unchecked the option in 'Extra web files'

ok - scrap that lol
When I upgraded to 3042, I did overwrite these:
interface/json/InternetOptions.json
interface/json/InternetSchema.json
I just did it again from the ones inside the 3043 folder, and the option appeared - not sure what happened there.
Thank you for pointing that out, Steve.

Hello steve,
I'm trying to send cumuluswebtags.txt to my ftp server using the "extra files" option, because I need to see the station data at a php page, but something is going wrong.
At the MXDiags, everything is running fine, but at the ftplog, Cumulus is only sending the realtimegauges.txt. I've already edited the cumulus.ini many times, tried even removing the realtimegauges.txt of the extra files, but the ftplog stays the same.
Can you help me?
Thanks in advance!

Have you closed and restarted Cumulus MX after the alterations as it reads the cumulus.ini file at start up and will not take account of any changes unless you do.

Yes, I'd only modified the cumulus.ini with the program closed.

Have you edited Cumulus.ini correctly? I'm not sure why you did it that way, rather than using the MX user interface. What does that show for the file you've added?

I have tried the both ways, but none of them worked.

I guess I should have been more specific - can you show a screen shot of the entry you've added to the extra files page?

I have another problem now, and I really don't know how to solve this.
My Cumulus is giving the following error after I set the ftp settings: "error during serialization"
When I erase the settings, the error continue. But if I unzip again the cumulusmx zip file and configure only the station settings, cumulus run fine at localhost dashboard.
And if I set ftp again, the cicle restarts.
I need to solve this error before start again sending extra files.

What version of Mono are you using, and what locale (language) to run Cumulus?

I'm using the newer version of mono on raspberry pi 3: Mono JIT compiler version 3.2.8 (Debian 3.2.8+dfsg-10)
And when I start cumulus the culture that appears is Portuguese(Brazil), is that you are asking?

As mentioned in the instructions and the MX FAQ, Mono 3.2.8 will not work with locales which use commas for decimals (e.g. Portuguese). You will need to install version 4.0.x, if you don't know how to do this, instructions have been posted a number of times in the forum, e.g. here -

It's worked!
The sending of the .php files also worked and now is all running softly!
Thanks for this incredible software and keep working!
