Hi Steve,
Just to make a point please. Debian Stretch will be released shortly. New Mono version going to be released which is 4.6.2, which probably won't work with CumulusMX. Any chance we can have a work around for this please.
Many thanks

Re: New release of debian stretch - mono version
Sorry, no, I have no idea why later versions of Mono don't allow the USB HID component which MX uses to detect stations. If I had a fix I wouldn't be keeping quiet about it! I don't even have a suitable station or a Linux platform with me so that I can try it. Perhaps in a few months when I return home I can look into it.
If anyone wants to investigate, this is the component which MX uses - https://www.nuget.org/packages/HidSharp/ - as you can see, it hasn't been updated for a while. It still requires libudev0 rather than libudev1, which is also a problem. Perhaps there is an alternative component somewhere that MX could use instead - but testing it would be a problem at the moment.

Re: New release of debian stretch - mono version
Can you not just lock the mono repository in apt to a version that is known that works? I'm using 4.0.5.1
