Hi,

I moved from a Fine Offset 1080 to an Aercus WH3083 and at the same time moved from Windows 10 to using a Raspberry Pi3 but wasnt sure on taking the old data across (v1.9.4 (1099) so I started afresh with CumulusMX.

Although I still need to sort out the realtime gauges everything else was fine bar some issues with the transmitter and Solar unit which are being replaced.

However there are some invalid rain entries which have appeared and am totally lost at trying to work out which file to change to correct these, I did update the dayfile which took care of the days rain on the days in question but I still have the invalid entries appearing in the log files showing up.

Highest Daily Rainfall 5038.5mm 10/1/17
Highest Monthly Rainfall 7261.8mm January 2017

From the logs a number of entries against
2/1/17 Rain So Far 1110.6
7/1/17 Rain So Far 1110.6
10/1/17 Rain So Far 5038.50
10/1/17 Rain So Far 430.5
10/1/17 Rain So Far 1505.4

Sorry if I missed something in the FAQ/Wiki at the moment am just lost what to edit.

Any help or guidance would be very much appreciated

What station type have you selected in Cumulus - Fine Offset with solar sensors, hopefully?

If you zip up the MXdiags folder and attach it, I'll take a look, to see if I can see what happened.

To correct those all-time records you need to edit alltime.ini with MX stopped. There is some information in the FAQ about correcting invalid data, which may be if some use, but note that MX has no built-in editors yet. The various log files are also all described in some detail in the wiki.
