Hi Steve

We need to replace the computer that runs Cumulus, so I will follow the advice page for backing up and switching. Would you recommend using the new MX version as we currently use the previous build.

If so, can you advise or direct me to a post explaining how to transfer the data over please?

Many thanks
Mark

It is all in the release post here https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.p ... 08#p101008. If you want to run Cumulus MX with your existing Cumulus data, simply copy your existing Cumulus directory and "install" Cumulus MX into it. I put install in quotes as there is no actual install you simply unzip Cumuls MX into you new directory.

The only thing really missing is the inbuilt data editors in Cumulus 1 but if you need to edit the files this can be achieved with a good ASCII editor no problem. I would advise people to go for it, but make sure you read everything thoroughly especially the release notes about webtags etc.
