hi all do u know if the ms has the strings.ini as i cant find it any where

If
you copied data over from Cumulus (1) then it should be in the CumulusMX main program folder.
Else
then there should be a samplestrings.ini in the CumulusMX main program folder - just edit and save as strings.ini

Yes, strings.ini support in MX is exactly the same as in Cumulus 1.
