Further to my migration post. I was so close to a perfect migration. The PI is chatting to the station, its updating the web page, a bit of fiddling to fix the steel series drives but got there in the end, WOW is running, but Weather underground is not. I find this in the MXDiags.

It seems to be complaining about the format of the update, given that it's returning 'usage' information. There's nothing wrong with the format of the update string as displayed, so I suspect it's something to do with your password. It possibly contains an ampersand or some other 'funny' character. It's possible that MX should be doing some encoding. If your password does contain non-alphanumerics, you could consider changing it to see if that solves the problem.

As an unrelated issue, whatever it is that you have MX talking to appears not to support the LOOP2 packet; if so, you should disable them as in the instructions.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for your reply. I did have non-alphanumeric characters in the password, which I have now changed. Just waiting to see if the connection restores.
Meanwhile I am operating a Davis VP2, utilising a silicon labs serial to USB chipset. I don't know the firmware revision but I do know the device is about 10 years old so it is reasonable that its not up to date. I have followed your instructions and the log now reports that LOOP2 is disabled. Thanks for that.
And I can final report that WU is now up and running.

Just dawned on me that the graphics are no longer supported to the website. However, as the website is unchanged from the PC based service the last set of graphics remain. Bit of tweeking of the master HTML files required. I will have to figure out how to remove the mouse-over on the steel series display as well. :)

Many thanks for you help.
