Another question...
As I only have my computer on a couple of times I usually launch Cumulus after booting up.
The program loads and downloads the updated data from the WH1080 as expected; but sometimes the 'New Record' button starts flashing and sometimes it doesn't.
All the data is saved so the program is obviously running OK.
Can anyone tell me the exact process that starts the flashing button and what it indicates.
Many thanks,
Mike.

Re: Status - New Record - flashing
Thanks, found the answer there...
My ‘new record’ light has stopped flashing
The ‘new record’ light only flashes when an all-time record has been broken.
I was thinking it referred to new data.
Mike.

Re: Status - New Record - flashing
It was originally just labelled 'record', and that caused some confusion, perhaps understandably. So I renamed it to 'new record'. Still causes confusion

LOL Steve; I guess some like me thought it meant that it hadn't loaded all the data down.steve wrote:It was originally just labelled 'record', and that caused some confusion, perhaps understandably. So I renamed it to 'new record'. Still causes confusion

Re: Status - New Record - flashing
Actually I think it depends on if you read it as reckord or reecord. I hope that makes sense?

Yes - exactly. The problem is that the word has two meanings, both of which are relevant to storing data. But the help file does explain which one applies in this case.Super-T wrote:Actually I think it depends on if you read it as reckord or reecord. I hope that makes sense?

In regard to the "New Reckord" lights and popout screen - I noticed that when there all the other lights stay on until you close the popout screen, but if you click on hte high temperature record light it goes out. No real significance but strange!

Re: Status - New Record - flashing
They're all supposed to do that, and at one time they did. But something broke - what happens now is that the top one always goes out no matter which one you click - which I'll fix - thanks.
