Date of rainfall recording

I send records to the weather bureau of rainfall on a day to day basis, but use cumulus to check on my manual readings . I have only just realized that my auto station (Digitech) records rainfall to the previous date at 9:00 am, whereas the bureau records the 9:00 am recording to the date of the reading.

I have now used to excel to change the date, but thought thee may be a setting in the ini file I can correct the date of recording. I haven't found anything in the help docs as yet.

The problem is that the monthly totals can be dramatically different.

Thanks

GTblu

No, sorry, you can't do this in Cumulus. Maybe in a future release of Cumulus MX.

Hi GTblu,

I cannot determine if you have a website (or local sever setup) but you can capture the "r24hour" at 09:00 / 09:01 which is what I do.
I upload CUTags.php for my Saratoga Template every five minutes, so at 09:01 I have a cronjob server side which grabs the past 24 hour Rainfall and appends it to a MySql Database. Then I have other scripts setup which I can use from anywhere to add the Manual BoM Rainfall reads to the MySql Database.

The resulting queries on that MySql Database are on the "Official Records" Tab on this page : http://hrvistaweather.com/weather/wxrainrecentbom.php

This could be done many ways depending on what you have setup, let me know if you want any file examples, but you will need MySql and CronJob ability to utilise my current setup.
Regards,
