Good afternoon,
I'm having a problem starting the Cumulus Mx with my raspberry pi with my weather station Oregon WMR180. In the options when you change the Undefined option for Oregon WMR 100 and renicio the program the following error occurs when you start (the Mxdials is in the attached file).

It's not able to find your station. Do you have libudev0 installed? What version of Mono are you using? Some versions of Mono do not work with USB stations.

yes I have installed libudev0. My version of Mono is: Stable 4.6.0.243/dea2155
I have a raspbery pi 3, which is the version that can connect to the station? How can I install?

4.6? That will likely not work. I tried 4.5 on a RPI3 and it didn't work. I"m currently using 4.0.5 stable on a Jessie Lite install and it works great. I've now had mine running for 10 days straight without a hiccup (I'm also using the startup script). Davis VP2plus is the station with a standard USB logger. You might try installing 4.0.5 instead.

First you should remove the existing Mono install by issuing 'sudo apt-get autoremove mono-complete' I believe is what it is. Whatever package you installed, use that to uninstall/autoremove.

Then, you'll need to update the /etc/sources.list file and add the following line to it:

Code: Select all

deb http://download.mono-project.com/repo/debian wheezy/snapshots/4.0.5 main
Once you've saved the file after editing, you'll need to issue:

'sudo apt-get update' and allow it to add the new repo. It will likely scream about not having a key or something but you can dismiss that I believe.

Once that is done, reinstall mono, then issue the command mono -V and recheck the version.

I'm going off memory here so if I've missed something I hope someone will correct me.
