Replacement ISS, Still Getting Weird Readings

Hello
I have recently been getting some bizarre readings from my Davis Vantage Vue setup. The outside temperature and humidity readings were ridiculous: 1% humidity, Dew Point -42c and so on.

I bought a new ISS assuming the old one was at fault but on setting it up I’m still getting the same weird readings, the ISS is indoors at the moment and according to the readings there’s a windspeed of anywhere between 9 and 15 mph!, also 1% humidity.

Could it be the console that’s faulty? And have I wasted nearly £200?
Any help would be appreciated.

Could it be that you are receiving signals from a neighbor's unit? The thing to try to change the channel your ISS is transmitting on and check with you get something different receiving on that channel than on the one you're using.

I myself had a mysterious problem from this cause when I first brought up my unit, never suspecting how considerable the range is over which you can sometimes receive.

What firmware are you running on your Console?

Hello again

Thanks for your prompt replies.

I think I've found the problem. I have a weatherlink datalogger attached to the console, I've detached it and the readings are now OK. I've yet to reconnect the datalogger but I'm hoping the problem will not return!

I have reconnected the datalogger and now the outside humidity is reading 3%. All other readings appear normal.

Can anyone give me any advice on fixing this please? It does seem to be a fault with the datalogger, I’ve no idea why, the console has been sitting undisturbed on a window ledge for two years without a problem up until now.
