Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.
ok, after restarting Cumulus via remote desktop access all outdoor sensors seem to be down (I am not at home so I can't check the station readings).
Unfortunately it was not obvious that the outdoor sensors were down because they remained at their last value... so the status message seems to be right!
If your WS1080 is anything like my WS3083 then the usual culprit is a 'locked' USB port - i.e. it's not communicating correctly. The only way I have found to clear this is to stop CumulusMX, unplug the USB, totally power down the WS console by removing the batteries; then power up the console and wait for communication with the sensors, then restart CumulusMX. It really is a pain. So much so that I am looking to replace the WS3083 with an older Oregon WMR88 - It isn't my 'main' station but I can mount the wind sensor at a more useful height than the Davis VantageVue and it gives me UV readings - well something close!

It's a fine offset PWS.
