Cumulus Support

Hallo all?

Maybe I'm to dumb to start the application or something is not working right.

I have unziped the whole archive to a folder.
then I have started CumulusMX.exe in Administrator-Mode
a command window opens and the promts that a web server is set to run. The command window will be kept opened as I learned CumulusMX is command line operated.

as I interpreted CumulusMX will only run in a modern browser so I headed to the file structer to interface an opened the index.htm were all the kinds of sub menues open



if i want to edit settings like station or internet ... I'm not able to...




could anyone assist in getting started CumulusMX on my machine?

You can't just open the pages in a browser from the filestore, you have to open them using the web server that's built into Cumulus, as otherwise Cumulus has no idea that you've opened the page. The instructions do explain this. If you are running the browser on the same PC as the one that Cumulus is running on, you use the URL http://localhost:8998/ or http://127.0.0.1:8998/ - for some people using localhost or 127.0.0.1 doesn't seem to work, so you need to use the actual (local) IP address of the PC instead.

OK I really was to dumb to start it, an yes it is stated in the announcement thread how to start the application *readthefuckingmanual*.
