Adjust Maximum reading for barometric pressure

Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

Adjust Maximum reading for barometric pressure

Post by Barrow4491 »

Hi,
Only new at this site and have built WeatherDuinoPro 2. My issue is the maximum reading on the Barometric Pressure gauge is 1050 mB and the local pressure here is today 1018 mB which is nearly off scale. Can this be altered in the Cumulus.ini file.
Thanks
Jim

I believe the SteelSeries gauges code sets the max and min values based on your all-time high and low pressures. To change this behaviour, you would need to edit the code in gauges.js.

It does, it takes you all-time max/min records, adds a bit of padding and rounds down/up to nice values. You current reading should never go off-scale.
