No - but I will. They're currently on opposite sides of the room, about 18 feet apart. The transmitters are very close, less than a foot apart, and I can't easily separate them.Repairman77 wrote:Have you tried experimenting by moving the two consoles as far apart and as near as possible and see if there is any interaction?

Re: Interfering Neighbours
Steve, it's unlikely to be the problem if they are that far apart but it's worth experimenting.steve wrote:No - but I will. They're currently on opposite sides of the room, about 18 feet apart. How sure are you of the battery removal in the console affecting the problem if it's only intermittent?
Could be coincidence, perhaps.
Mike.

Re: Interfering Neighbours
Since removing the batteries some weeks ago, the only time I have had a problem with the VP2 is when I briefly put the batteries back into the Fine Offset to run a test.

Very strange then Steve. You could try taking it into a far room and see if it makes any difference.steve wrote:Since removing the batteries some weeks ago, the only time I have had a problem with the VP2 is when I briefly put the batteries back into the Fine Offset to run a test.

apenwith . . . . rather than a difficult technical solution, you could try a 'diplomatic' one.
As both receivers will work from one transmitter, why not discuss the situation with your neighbour and see if you can agree only to leave in place the best sited transmitter. You would both then be able to use it . . . . . and keep the other snesors/transmitter for spare parts.
